Before joining the computer science doctoral program at Texas A&M, I was as project leader for Suma Consulting—an IT consulting firm in Guatemala—our clients included sectors such as banking, financial, and insurance.
My experience as IT consultant included automation of customer service centers for financial, services, distribution and manufacturing companies. As well as aligning information technology with business processes for private companies and government institutions.
For a telecommunications company I participated in the design of a financial datamart, (Tricom, a telecommunications company in the Dominican Republic).
Among the companies and institutions I worked include: Business Logic Systems Inc., GBM (IBM's representative in Central America), Wendy's, Distelsa (Sony's representative in Guatemala), Rotary International and others.
