We live in a modern society where computers and the internet dominate our lives. Every day, we turn on the computer as soon as we get up. Writing blogs or joining cyber-community sites, such as Facebook, we can communicate with an outside world in the privacy of our homes. Watching video clips from Youtube, we can invite known or unknown others to experience clips our lives. The pace of society forces us to adapt to a technological environment whose implications for our lives we do not fully understand. I am taking this course to learn more about these implications. |
